TAMA has represented New Zealand’s tractor and farm-related machinery industry since 1949. Our strength lies in taking a unified stand for our members on industry issues – ensuring all members’ voices are heard.
We exist solely to provide value to our members and to support them in addressing challenges and progressing opportunities.
We maintain close relationship with a wide number of relevant organisations, including government departments, national bodies and sector groups. We lobby on our members’ behalf whenever needed – for instance on the Health & Safety Reform Bill.
We promote the importance of the industry, including to the media and to young people to help ensure a strong apprentice pipeline. We collect and distribute data on tractor and machinery sales to give members’ market intelligence and allow better inventory management.
Membership benefits include:
- Networking opportunities at TAMA events, including regular regional meetings
- Access to up-to-the-minute industry information, trends and ideas, through our exclusive member communications
- Special deals, access and benefits from service providers
Our annual subscription fees are based on a member’s annual turnover.
